This Meeting will be held at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library 7-:30 PM.

What does the data tell us about the current housing landscape in Corvallis? What is it like to search for affordable housing in the city? How can individuals and the greater community address housing needs?

With all the recently completed housing as well as current construction, it might appear that the housing crisis in Corvallis will soon be a thing of the past.  However, there is more to the story.  This presentation will:

  • Explore the current inventory of housing in Corvallis as it relates to current demand,
  • Share personal stories told by those who have recently searched for housing, and
  • Identify local grass roots solutions to the local housing crisis.

Presenters:

  • Daniel McKenna-Foster, City of Corvallis Housing Planner
  • Karen Rockwell, Executive Director, Benton Habitat for Humanity
  • A panel of community members who will share their experiences of searching for housing in Corvallis

This meeting is co-sponsored by Benton Habitat for Humanity, CARDV, the City of Corvallis, Housing First, and the Corvallis Benton County Public Library.
