Communications Committee

The Communications Committee is the voice of the League of Women Voters of Corvallis. We keep the community informed of our programs, studies, positions, and opportunities. We do this through maintaining an information-rich website, sending out e-news regularly, posting on social media, and staying connected with news outlets. We are a small team and could accomplish much more with your help! 

Looking for help with…

• Website Updates – help us publish events and blog posts that are submitted by Board and Committee members each month. A great way to find out all that’s happening and be of service!
• Monthly Enewsletter – We send enews to our 500+ subscribers every month. Know how to use MailChimp or ready to learn? Let us know!
• Event Reminder Eblasts – Help us send out reminders for each event to increase participation rates!
• Posting Flyers – If you like to visit local coffee shops and other community hubs, you could post flyers for LWVC and extend our reach!
• Graphics Creation – Put your artistic talents to work for the League and create social media graphics and other appealing designs for use on our website, flyers, enews, and more!
• Newspaper Liaison – Help us get the word out to local news outlets so even more people stay informed.
