LWVC Position: Financing the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library
LWVC | August 13, 1985
The League of Women Voters supports:
Free access for all residents of Benton County to library services;
Adequate funding to maintain quality of services and facilities consistent with community
social and educational standards;
Sufficiently stable funding to make possible long-term planning;
Clearly defined governmental authority that can most economically and efficiently provide
library services. (Adopted 1985)
