Speakers:
Lisa Arkin is Executive Director of Beyond Toxics, a very successful Eugene, Oregon environmental advocacy organization. Lisa will present how Beyond Toxics contributes to air quality improvement; and report on current legislation affecting air quality.
Marilyn Koenitzer, is a member of the LWV of Corvallis and an environmental advocate. Marilyn will introduce the big picture of air pollution, and summarize the latest information on the Hollingsworth and Vose glass fiber plant’s path to a new air quality permit.
Dr. Diana Rohlman, PhD, OSU, is a Toxicologist in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences in the department of Environmental and Occupational Health. Rohlman will discuss air monitoring projects for Corvallis neighborhoods and provide an overview of the health impacts of air pollution.
