Stay Alert for Spoofing Emails

This is just a reminder to always be on the lookout for spoofing emails – emails that have the display name of someone in the League or the LWV of Corvallis, but are actually from a different email address.

The League only sends emails out from [email protected] and emails and email addresses ending in @lwvcorvallis.org (generally [email protected]). If you receive an email from LWV of Corvallis that looks unusual, please check that it is from one of these email addresses.

If you get an email that is from our President or any one of our board members, please check that it’s from an email address you have used with them in the past. When in doubt, call the person or email them from a previous thread you’ve had with them.
