Committee Mission & Responsibilities
The Governance Committee helps ensure that our foundational governing documents and policies remain current, clear, and aligned with our mission and legal requirements.

Key duties include
- Reviewing and updating bylaws and key operational policies
- Evaluating proposed amendments or new policies from the Board or membership
- Considering organizational and legal implications of proposed changes
- Recommending updates to the Board of Directors for formal action
Time commitment
- Virtual meetings held as needed, no more than monthly
- Time to review documents
- Participation in discussion and recommendations
