The League of Women Voters of Corvallis is pleased to host a screening of “Undivide Us” – an award-winning documentary that is being shown and discussed in towns and cities throughout the country. Plan to join us on Wednesday, September 18, at 7 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library to watch the film and participate in a follow-up discussion.
“Undivide Us” challenges the idea that citizens who disagree are not capable of civil conversation and demonstrates the truth that, even in our differences, the American experiment is still alive and well. The film features six focus groups in three American cities, exploring perceived polarization and uncovering the potential for healing conversation, mutual respect, and democracy at its best.
