Open Streets Corvallis is a free street festival that re-imagines our most shared public spaces – streets and parks – as places where people walk, bike, and play. For one day each summer, over a mile of neighborhood streets are closed to motorized traffic so that people may use them for walking, rolling, dancing, playing, and socializing. Activity hubs in public parks along the route include local food and drink, live music, giant-sized games, and more. Neighbors, community organizations, and businesses are invited to host interactive activities.

The League has the opportunity to table at this event to get word out about what we do as well as recruit new members. We have activities (a spinner and civics questions) and materials (poster of Ward map for the many people who do not know what Ward they are in and who their City Councilor is).

No previous tabling experience needed. This is a great way to get a taste of involvement with the League!

Please email [email protected] to volunteer for a shift!
