The Downtown Corvallis Vitality Strategy Task Force (DVSTF) is a 2025-26 City of Corvallis initiative aimed at creating a blueprint for downtown improvement, focusing on economic vitality, infrastructure, environment, and safety. DVSTF launched two public surveys in December 2025 to gather input on proposed actions like tax incentives or sidewalk maintenance to help build a vibrant future for downtown. This input will help them prioritize strategies in their recommendations for the City Council.

Additionally, the Task Force also continues to receive community feedback through the Public Input to Downtown Vitality Strategy Task Force; (comments already received can be found here), as well as during the community comment time at weekly Task Force meetings.
