Child Care in OregonYOUR OPINION NEEDED

At Convention 2021, LWV of Washington County proposed a restudy of child care. Child care concerns have changed dramatically since our  1988 – Child Care In Oregon  publication.  Our advocacy position has not changed.

League of Women Voters of Oregon is seeking consensus from local leagues across the state in order to develop an updated position. Read the study and mark your calendar to make your opinion count by attending one of the meetings we have planned to discuss the consensus questions:

  • Tuesday, November 12 at 7 PM at the home of Connie Bozarth, 1340 NW Hillcrest Dr., Corvallis
  • Tuesday November 19 at 10 AM at the home of Ann Schauber, 4180 NW Canary Pl. Corvallis

Note: Consensus means a general agreement by members, not a strict voting process.
